Welcome to James Creek Simmental. Holly and I want to express our gratitude for exploring our cattle operation. As you travel through our website we feel you will appreciate the quality of the genetics that we have. You are always welcome to stop in and see our operation first hand. WHAT IS FLECKVIEH?
Fleckvieh is a Simmental that has origins in Germany. They are naturally thick and highly maternal. They make outstanding females that raise big calves while maintaining their excellent body condition. The bulls will have tremendous muscling and maintain themselves in tremendous shape year round.

The Fleckvieh cattle were originally used as draft animals in German farming communities. Milk production was not emphasized until later. The cow’s milk is consistently high in butterfat. Fleckvieh cattle have excellent beef conformation, and are easy fleshing, with efficient gaining ability. These are just several of the key points of this wonderful breed.
