Welcome to the 2023 edition of our annual bull sale. This will be a private treaty style sale. The first day of the sale will be Tuesday, February 7. You are welcome to come by and inspect the bulls at your convenience.
We have taken DNA on all of the calf crop. The bulls are all non-dilutor by parentage, but will be confirmed through DNA. If you have any questions please let us know, we will be happy to visit with you.
The bulls were weaned October 18, 2022, and have been fed a TMR of Hay Barley, Grass Hay, Corn, Corn Silage and mineral. The performance has been really consistent and the bulls are in condition that will keep them growing and sound. Call or stop by to view them or if you have any questions.
K10 Sire: VIRGINIA LOMBARDI 734H
K10 'Mario' This is the second youngest bull in the sale. K10 comes from 'Lombardi' and is polled. His dam, D10, a Nickelback daughter that carries the great cow family Salmon Arm Dora. Big volume and eye appealing in a performance package. Genetically non-dilutor.
K302 SOLD Sire: ANCHOR D GIBRALTAR 431G
K302 'Felix' Here is one of the 'Gibraltar' bulls for sale. K302 is a twin. He comes from a very reliable cow that makes bulls and females. Great muscle development with style. Genetically non-dilutor.
K407 SOLD Sire: ANCHOR D GIBRALTAR 431G
K407 'Wreck It Ralph' Our first crop of calves from 'Gibraltar' and they are every bit as good as hoped for. We flushed a Houston daughter two years ago wanting to build on our Arnold Brothers cow family. K407 is the only embryo bull from that flush. Wow, might be all we need to say! Female and bull maker in this guy. Genetically non-dilutor.
K526 SOLD Sire: ANCHOR D GIBRALTAR 431G
K526 'Glacier' is another 'Gibraltar' son to consider. Hanna took him to our county fair in June and he was Reserve Calf Champion. Glacier lost his mom a month before weaning. If you like correct made, hairy bulls consider K526. Same cow family as K407. Number 2 in weaning this fall. This bull will make some tremendous females. It's easy to see the consistency in these Gibraltar bulls and heifers. Genetically non-dilutor.
K621 SOLD Sire: VIRGINIA LOMBARDI 734H
K621 'Waldo' comes to us from 'Lombardi'. Hailey showed him at our county fair, he was second in class to Glacier in the bull calf division. His dam is a nice producing IPU Radium daughter, from a sister to the dam of K407. The Lombardi calves come a few days early and are easy calving. Great confirmation and style. We know K621 will be an excellent choice for making great cows. Genetically non-dilutor.
K717 SOLD Sire: VIRGINIA LOMBARDI 734H
K717 'Barney' Our first crop of calves from 'Lombardi' have not disappointed. Another IPU Radium dam raising a great polled bull prospect. Calving ease will be in his DNA. He will give you great steers and functional females. Genetically non-dilutor.
K723 SOLD Sire: VIRGINIA LOMBARDI 734H
K723 'Carbon' This is a neatly made 'Lombardi' bull to consider. Once again, cow family ties back to Arnold Brothers. Hexagon and Imax on the dam side adds calving ease. Look for the maternal side of him to be his strongest attribute. Double polled. Genetically non-dilutor.
K809 SOLD Sire: ANCHOR D GIBRALTAR 431G
K809 'Granite' Gibraltar hits again. Third youngest in the pen and has kept up quite well. The females will be stellar as Champs Romano and Houston are in his moms pedigree. This bull will check many boxes in what you will like in a herd bull. Genetically non-dilutor.
K811 Sire: ANCHOR D GIBRALTAR 431G
H811 'Brutus' The only polled bull from 'Gibraltar'. A little bit smaller in frame and a heavy muscled stout bull. You will like the way this guy is made. Genetically non-dilutor.
